Arnd Löttgen studied mechanical engineering at the Comprehensive University of Siegen. Since 1980, he has held various posts with MAN, both in Germany and abroad, gaining extensive experience in product development, production and service, including as head of the engine business unit and in projects involving the global use of vehicle engines at MAN Truck & Bus. He previously worked for MAN Diesel & Turbo during 2009 and 2010, when he was in charge of setting up the High Speed business unit.
Arnd Löttgen was appointed to the Executive Board of MAN Diesel & Turbo with effect from September 1, 2012 with responsibility for Strategic Business Unit Engines, which brings together four-stroke engine production and turbocharger operations. In his capacity as Chief Manufacturing Officer, he also plays a cross-departmental role which covers all strategic business units and is responsible for the development and implementation of a company-wide production strategy.
